Roles and responsibilities;
Leadership
- Responsibility for overall engineering operations ,projects and delivery
- Developing and delivery of KPI’s, goals and objectives of the team and organization
- Managing staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
Business
- Responsibility for engineering budget and costs as well as it’s tracking
- Leading the research on potential technology solutions in support of business strategy
- Identification, defining and execution of the strategic engineering projects in line with organization strategy
- Working with product management stakeholders to define requirements for new technology implementations
- Performing quality assurance of engineering projects against established standards and practices
Functional / Technical Skills
- Direct the successful design, implementation and delivery of key engineering product
- Translates requirements into the required technical solution by defining and documenting the logical components and overall technical solution characteristics in functional specifications and high-level designs
- Knowledge of technological trends in the S/W development industry, such as Machine Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Multi-Tier S/W development, Web technologies
- Good knowledge of technical architecture and design patterns to ensure efficient use of resources and scalability
- Working with various technologies such as Core ML vision framework, Snapdragon Neural processing, Data write architecture such as Redis, MongoDB
- Deep understanding of logical database design and development, especially in open source database products like PostGres, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands on experience in developing native ios and android products
- Hands on experience with AWS, Azure or similar cloud solutions
- Experience in SaaS projects
- Thorough understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
The Position Requirements
- 5-7+ years of functional experience with at least a 3-4 years in being a lead for a product development
- Proven experience in product engineering especially on the Cloud and SaaS services
- Strong knowledge of systems design principles, requirements specifications, standards development and practices
- AND Above ALL a genuine interest and belief in sports and fitness
